Getting Started with One Click LCA for EPDs

EPD Onboarding is conducted through One Click LCA Academy, our online learning platform. The course consists of theoretical material for understanding Product LCA, and practical exercises to complete after each chapter as you work towards your first EPD. This is mainly covered via a set of videos that will help you understand LCA, EPD and how the software works

The chapters in the course are designed to ensure steady progress while receiving regular feedback from your One Click LCA mentor, with whom you'll have an initial kick-off call so you get off to the best possible start.

Typically it takes between 4-12 weeks to complete onboarding, depending on variables like data collection and resources. This timeline, along with your first EPD project, will be discussed in your kick-off call. 

Please be sure to create an account on https://academy.oneclicklca.com/, after which you will be enrolled in the course and you'll have access to the curriculum, as below:

• Chapter 0: Welcome & Program Overview
• Chapter 1: EPDs & Data
  • Includes videos about theory on EPDs, Key LCA concepts, PCRs
  • Assignment with the To-Do list: get started with the software, start data collection
• Chapter 2: Product Stage (A1-A3)
  • Videos about life-cycle stages A1-A3 and how to model them and import data into the software
  • Assignment with the To-Do list: import A1-A3 into the software, prepare A1-A3 description
• Chapter 3: Installation, Use and End of Life (A4-C4, D)
  • Videos about scenarios: life-cycle stages A4-A5, B1-B7, C1-C4 and D
  • Assignment with the To-Do list: import the complete LCA into the software
• Chapter 4: EPD Generation & Submission
  • Includes tips on how to check your results and your LCA model
  • Assignment with the To-Do list: review the whole LCA model, generate your EPD and submit it

At the end of the successful completion of your first EPD, which is after submitting the last assignment, you will receive a certificate of course completion from One Click LCA Academy.
