Sharing Projects Between Concurrent User Licenses

This article explains how to share projects between users with different license levels on concurrent licenses within the same organization.

Scenario:

• Your organization has two concurrent user licenses: License A (e.g., Business) and License B (e.g., Expert).
• User 1 has access to both License A and License B.
• User 2 only has access to License B.
• User 1 wants to share a project created with License A with User 2.

Prerequisites:

• The concurrent licenses must belong to the same organization (or allow access to external users).
• The users sharing the project must be assigned to both licenses.

Steps:

1. User 1: Check out License A and create the project. Link the project to License A.
   
2. User 1: Release License A and check out License B.
3. User 1: Open the project and link it to License B.
   
4. User 1: Add User 2 to the project and release License B.
   
5. User 2: Check out License B and open the project.

Important Note: The available tools depend on the checked-out license. If License B has fewer tools than License A, User 2 can only use the tools included in License B.

This process allows for flexible project collaboration while managing access based on license levels.
