This article relates to an additional service called 'Support Pack' which can be purchased with a license and aims to make users fully autonomous at performing their building certification assessments. We currently offer Support Packs for:
- LEED v4/v4.1
- BREEAM UK
- BREEAM International
- Greater London Authority (GLA)
These Support Packs include extended support for one certification project only.
What is included in the Support Pack?
The support pack is for teams who are undertaking their first assessments with One Click LCA, aiming to work in the most effective manner. There are two online meetings, the other topics are typically covered by extended email support. The Support Pack includes:
- Advanced training related to your chosen certification (1 hour meeting)
- Advice on best practices of data collection
- Extended support on choosing environmental data
- Extended support for choosing a baseline strategy (LEED) or building options (BREEAM UK) and setting it up
- Mid project check-up call (1 hour Q&A meeting)
- Finding a strategy to reduce emissions & show compliance
- Reviewing results prior to final submission
The different support aspects explained:
Advanced Training
LEED
During this training, we will discuss how you will need to input the data for your LEED project into One Click LCA, how we can achieve and measure reductions and anything else which is required for the different paths in the MRc1 credit.
BREEAM UK
During this training, we will discuss how you will need to input the data (and naming your options for BREEAM UK NC) for your BREEAM project into One Click LCA, explain the elements required and how to use the Mat 01/02 tool.
BREEAM International
During this training, we will discuss how you will need to input the data for your BREEAM International project into One Click LCA, how we can fill in the Mat 01 calculator and how we can achieve the Mat 01 credit (and possibly other credits).
GLA
During this training, we will discuss how you will need to input the data for your GLA project into One Click LCA, how to step up your designs for your two energy scenario options and how we can fill in the GLA Excel sheet with your results.
Note: This is a separate training from your initial One Click LCA kick-off training, we strongly suggest participating in a kick-off training first.
Advice on best practices for data collection
While we cannot do the data collection for you, we can advise you on what type of data you would need in order to be able to complete your assessment using One Click LCA. Guidance on what requires to be included in your calculation can be found in the appropriate guidance documentation for your scheme.
Support on choosing environmental data
We can provide guidance on your selected resources in order to ensure you have the best match for the materials which you are looking to include in your LEED assessments.
Support for choosing a suitable baseline strategy and setting it up (LEED only)
We can help you identify which baseline strategy would work best for your project (e.g. Importing from Energy Modelling software's or using an early-phase model).
Mid project check-up call (1 hour Q&A)
During this check-up call, we will go over the current status of your project and answer live any questions there may be.
Finding a strategy to reduce emissions & show compliance
We can help identify possible strategies to reduce emissions and for showing compliance with the requirements of your chosen certification.
Reviewing results prior to final submission
Prior to the final submission, we can review your report and LCA results.
What is not included in the Support Pack?
- Data collection itself
- Performing the LCA itself
- Extended support for multiple projects
I've purchased a Support Pack, what are the next steps?
If you have purchased the support pack you should have received an email from our support team with the next steps. If you have not received such, please reach out to our support team.
Once you have been in contact with our support team you will be assigned a point of contact who will set up a meeting in which we will cover all required topics for the project.
After this training, you can reach out to your designated contact person when further assistance is required during your supported project.
