Licensing Your Project

In order to have access to your purchased tools and features must link your license(s) to your project. If you have both a certification license and a main license, most typical in the case where a limited number of projects have been purchased, you may need to link both in order to perform calculations with all your tools.

Linking your main license to your project

Once your license is activated you can use it to license your projects.

Every Starter, Business, and Expert license includes at least one embodied carbon tool, which you can use for an unlimited number of projects. Basic licenses are typically named "Company (CountryCode) Starter/Business/Expert, # users" (e.g. One Click LCA (FI) Expert, 1 named user). 

If your license includes an unlimited number of certification projects, you can also use this license to activate your certification project.

To activate your project:

1. Start a new project (of the type that you have a license for)
2. Link the project to your commercial license, which will show up.
3. Fill in the other mandatory parameters, click on 'next' and create your project.

Note: No licenses appear in the list if you have selected the wrong type of project. 

 

Linking your certification project license your project (LEED, BREEAM, DGNB and others)

If you have purchased a certification project add-on license, you must link both your basic license (see above), and your certification add-on to your project. If you don't link both licenses, you won't have access to all the features/tools which you have purchased.

Typically add-on licenses are named "Company (CountryCode) Starter/Business/Expert add-on, Certification add-on, # projects" (e.g. One Click LCA (FI) Expert BREEAM/LEED add-on, 5 projects)

1. Make sure your project is linked to the basic license.
2. Add your certification project add-on. The second license can be linked on the project main page or through ‘More actions’ and ’Modify’.

If you wish to continue working with your trial project, you can link your commercial license(s) to the project through ‘More actions’ and ’Modify’.
