Sharing Data with Other Users in One Click LCA

This article describes how you can send private LCA data to another user, or to yourself for use in your own calculations. Please note that to use private data, an Expert license is required.

Step 1. From the results page of your design, navigate to the 'More actions' in the top right corner and select 'Send data to another user'.

Step 2. Enter the email address of the recipient and click 'Continue'. 

Step 3. Fill out the general information and data description, and click 'Send data'.

Step 4. The recipient will receive an email notifying them that they have received a private dataset.

Step 5. Clicking on the 'Private Datasets' hyperlink will take the user to their company account, where they should select 'Private datasets for <Company name>'. Please note that the main user of the company account needs to perform this and the next step.

Step 6. Locate the dataset that was sent, click 'DataProperties', and select 'Add resource to CML' and 'Add resource to EPDenabled'. The dataset can then be enabled.

Step 7. The resource will be available to use under the 'Product raw materials' search.
