In this article, we'll show you how to choose Ecoinvent datasets for use in your projects.
In some instances, such as with our Pre-verified EPD Generator, you will have a pre-made sector-specific data list added to your account. If you need to manually add datasets, you can do so through your company account.
Please note that you do need to be a main user to access your company data lists.
To navigate to your company account, please click on your username in the top right corner and select 'Company account'.
You can add datasets under the section 'Data Management', click edit 'Enabled data lists', shown below:
Next, click on 'Create a new data list', give it a name, select Ecoinvent as the data list type, and click 'Create':
After creating the list, you can click on 'Edit' to find resources from the Ecoinvent 3.6 database:
Once you have found a resource you want to use in your list, you can save the list, and also rename (alias) the resource for your convenience:
