If you use material in your product that does not have an EPD, but the supplier does have a self-declaration which includes information about recycled content, you can add it to you calculations using two lines of input.
In the first line, you can enter the quantity of recycled material used, and in the second, enter the quantity of virgin material.
Alternatively, you can use Allocation to apportion the total quantity between recycled and virgin material. Below is an example of a steel product with 80% "Steel production, electric, low-alloyed" and 20% "Steel production, converter, low-alloyed", as its recycled raw material and virgin raw material.
Note that there is also "Hot rolling, steel" as the processing of the steel.
You can also Group Materials As Constructions if you want to group the components into one data point.
