Data Enabled Purposes Error and Platform Unavailable

On 14th November 2023, between 11:30 and 12:30 UTC, a software bug resulted in the enabled purposes, which affects the availability of data in calculation tools, of multiple datasets in the One Click LCA platform being removed, resulting in some data being unavailable for calculations.

At 16:00 UTC, the issue was identified and reported to the One Click LCA software team who restored all enabled purposes by order of priority, with most being corrected by 17:20 UTC.

On 16th November 2023, at an unknown time, the software bug reoccurred, resulting in a limited number of clients contacting support to advise that resources were missing in French calculation tools. It was also noted that the Swedish Klimatdeklaration tool was also affected. Related to this, the One Click LCA platform was unavailable between 14:43 and 14:48 UTC.

The cause of the bug has been identified and was related to the upload of INIES .xml files. For this reason, this feature was disabled at 15:25 UTC on 17th November 2023 until a fix was developed, with the release and re-enabling of the feature taking place at 05:55 UTC on 20th November 2023.
